Autor: Andre Simon

Then and now (André Simon, Übersetzung von Dietrich Weller)

Long time ago, an aged native American from the tribe of Apache explained to his grandson, that each of us has in itself two  wolves with very different characters.   The one represents serenity, love and kindness. The other represents fear, greed and hatred. „Which of the two wolves’ wins?“ asked the grandson. “The one we feed”, replied the grandfather……. *** Recently in the land, where once the Apaches lived, a very, very rich person, with intent to humiliate one…

Books – Bücher (André Simon, übersetzt von Dietrich Weller)

Books Books are like oysters. To enjoy them, one needs to open them. Occasionally, we find a pearl or two.  However, all books contain so-called; “pearls of wisdom”. The “pearls of wisdom” embellish and explain the written messages. The universal goal   of the “pearls of wisdom” is to shape our thinking. Each time that one caresses the “pearls” and enjoy their splendor the authors like the Sages, communicate on many different levels. They draw one’s mind to the favourite…

Destiny – Schicksal (André Simon, Übersetzung von Dietrich Weller)

Destiny (die Übersetzung folgt am Schluss) We experience during our life’s journey sometimes luck and sometimes misfortune, like riding white or black horse. The horses gallop in the same direction in close-up and parallel way. However, or the white horse passes the black or vice versa. So the events are alternately changed between white (favourable) and black (less auspicious). However, in the true life, there is no absolute happiness or bad luck, and nothing occurs in entirely white or…

You have big ears and good ears to hear the bird’s whistles. Enjoy every day their heavenly music. And…

Legende (André Simon, Übersetzung von Dietrich Weller)

There is a legend of an admirable singing bird from Paraguay. The legend tells that once upon a time, high up in the branches of an orange tree in blossom, squatted an Indian boy. The boy used to climb trees despite the warnings of his mother, not to do so. However, one time, frightened by a call from his mother, he lost his hold, and fell to his death. Held in the arms of his mother, by a magic…

Europeans – Europäer (André Simon, Übersetzung Dietrich Weller)

Europeans What we have acquired we easily can loose, what we have built can decrepit everything we have learnt we can forget. However, if we help someone in need, this  persists forever. The noblest form of giving is generosity, which is the habit of giving freely without expecting anything in return.

My name is Artiste.  A long, long time ago I lived together with my sister Announce in the countryside. Evil people offended us and separated us from our family and our children. We were in a desperate state, so the Creator transformed us into birds. Announce became a swallow, and I became a nightingale. Announce proclaims spring every year in the cities and stays there. I   remained in the countryside singing. Announce came to me in the springtime and…

Leben ist … (André Simon, Übersetzung von Dietrich Weller)

Life is … Row, row, row your boat Gently down the river, Merrily, merrily, merrily, Life is but a dream                                                                                                                      …

Tommy (Text von André Simon, Übersetzung von Dietrich Weller)

Tommy  My owner calls me Tommy. I have a large body with a thin long tail. I am plump and sit all day long on the couch feeding myself and watching TV. My owner is a very fat person. He feeds me daily with his leftover food. Every day I have breakfast, a light meal, brunch, afternoon refreshments and an opulent dinner. Between meals I love to drink coca cola and eat peanuts that I find adorable. I like eating bacon or…

A Sparrow Tale (André Simon, übersetzt von Dietrich Weller)

A SPARROW TALE ( Dr. med.
