And, I tell you again: Place your life in the verses,
if you want to feel the universal life, and remain
in this way in connection with the harmony.
Literary critics live in peace,
but only the poets live the entire life.
Literary analysis numbs, the poems revive.
Only poetry can bring back a prose to the life
because, the poetry grows from the tree of life,
and the prose from the tree of knowledge.
The ancient adage is: a lie is short-lived, and the truth is eternal.
Wherefore, poetry lives longer than prose.
Poetry is closer to the truth and closer to the life.
And so, if you place your life into verses, you will be

Leben und Dichtkunst
Forme dein Leben in Verse.
Und, ich sag es dir nochmals: Forme dein Leben in Verse,
wenn du das umfassende Leben spüren willst, und bleibe
auf diese Art und Weise in Kontakt mit der Harmonie.
Literaturkritiker leben in Frieden,
nur die Dichter leben das umfassende Leben.
Literaturanalyse macht stumm, Gedichte beleben.
Nur Dichtkunst kann Prosa ins Leben zurück bringen,
weil Dichtkunst vom Baum des Lebens wächst
und die Prosa vom Baum des Wissens.
Ein alter Spruch sagt: Eine Lüge lebt kurz, und die Wahrheit ist ewig.
Deshalb lebt Dichtkunst länger als Prosa.
Dichtkunst ist näher an der Wahrheit und näher am Leben.
Und deshalb wirst du, wenn du den Leben in Verse formst,
näher an der Wahrheit und näher am Leben sein.
